I am getting tired of all the comments and looking forward to hear about how the day-to-day life for you and Chita is going, and dont forget the pics.. I am off to Fiji in two weeks time, would love to stop by your cafe, can you please give me directions? Thank you...

I have been buying the store out with clothing to take to my Honey and His Family I wonder if I will even have room for any clothes for myself.....

HI Everyone.

Just got off the phone to Amanda and it seems that some readers out there have selected "Flag" and reported the blog as offensive and or abusive.. Hmmm wonder who they could be?? not hard to find out!!
For those in support of Amanda's blog we are looking for emails or comments of support so this blog can be reviewed and status changed. Amanda has updates but is unable to publish them due to the reported abusive content??

Please email your support to
supportamanda_chitasblog@live.com.au

Thanks everyone :-)

Goodness, who on earth could find someone's own story abusive - I feel the complainer(s) are being bullies and themselves acting in an abusive manner. I have no idea who would have done this, but am very disappointed in whomever it may be. To the complainer(s); I was raised in an abusive home, I know all about living life with "secrets" - please dont think that anything Amanda has written is need for secrecy...

There are a lot of jealous people out there, maybe it is a female who is unable to get her boyfriend out of Fiji, or maybe it is someone in Fiji who is jealous tht Chita has gotten to Australia - whoever it is, should not be given so much power to stop the sharing of this journey that means so much to those who are following it.

Both my kaiviti husband and I give Amanda total support in sharing her lovely story with all here in her blog.

If anything she is promoting Viti in a positive light, with all the in's and out's of day-to-day life and happenings in local fijian lifestyle & culture.

There's nothing wrong at all telling it like it is, what people out there would want to hide the truth?? hmmmmm makes you wonder hey!

Its GREAT that we can read and hear of others experiences, remember we all searched the net for info on inter-racial relationships especially with our beloved islander men and we all came across this blog with so much valuable insight helping us with understanding of the beautiful fijian culture and it's men!

Full support for Amanda & Chita's blog to continue with the freedom of speech in which she has written..

Hi Mandy & Chita
I am blown away by all the readers the blog has attracted (by the way the foreign language comments are in Italian from Mandy's friends there who don't speak or write English but have managed to follow the gist of the blog - this is for the benefit of one inane comment to earler entries).
Anyway it was so great to hear Chita's voice from Tasmania when I called! He sounds so excited and is at last able to see where Mandy's roots are - it will no doubt explain many a strange Australian habit!
Having had joy of visiting Votua and meeting Chita & his mother with Mandy in the early days of the relationship - I can only say that they have done the right thing to get married - these two hearts are special and belong together.

Love you guys - Viv

Sobosobo Amanda, so that's why you are quiet. I hope you can fix the problem about posting because your posts are full of information and insight, valuable for the readers. Good luck.

Wow, what a little drama this blog is turning onto, who would have though .... love it, keep it coming Amanda ....

Have been thinking. You mentioned that you have numerous unpublished writings. At the risk of dampening your potential enthusiasm in this area, be very careful if you ever do decide to publish any of them, as whilst you seem to have attracted quite a readership in here, it is free, but if people have to pay for it then that may be another matter. Just a thought, may save you from a small financial disaster down the track if you ever decide to publish your writings.

One things I've always wondered about re you Amanda. Your blog front page says you're Launceston based, yet you keep referring to living in Hobart. I'm half the time wondering if you've moved down to Hobart and haven't updated your location, or whether you really mean Launceston rather than Hobart in your writings, or perhaps something else I've missed.

Hello to Amanda and followers of her blogs.

I came here for more updates on Amanda and Chitta's journey but when I saw that her "empty entry" attracted 11 comments I was just surprised!!!

It's real sucky that she was blocked. Well anyways, I hope she keeps on writing regardless of the limitations

:)
